Project Description:
VALORIA is a company specialized mainly in the management of household waste and similar waste. In 2016, and given the importance and interest in healthcare waste management, VALORIA saw the need to develop its main activity by setting up its unit for the treatment of infectious healthcare waste (DASRI) in accordance with international standards, in the new industrial zone el Wifek-M’hamdia, in the governorate of Ben Arous (lot No. 220). VALORIA plans to acquire 6 new STERILWAVE 440 type sterilizer machines in order to strengthen its treatment capacity.
Description of services provided by ICP:
– Analysis of the initial state of the site and its natural and human environment;
– Development and description of the unit’s operating process
– Definition of the project’s foreseeable direct and indirect consequences;
– Detailed description of the measures planned to eliminate, reduce, and offset harmful environmental impacts;
– Development of an Environmental Management Plan;
– Follow-up with the ANPE until approval is obtained
